According to Splash, the assault case against Chris Brown is going forward.  Chris had asked for the case to be thrown out due to unfair actions by the prosecution.  The trial was supposed to begin today (4/23) but the prosecutors declined to grant immunity to his bodyguard (who was found guilty of assault on Monday) and scheduled a hearing for June 25.  Obviously Chris Brown was hoping to put this case behind him as soon as possible and get back to promoting his upcoming album, X.  The staff over at Splash broke down today’s court decision.
