Philadelphia has proclaimed March 14 "Meek Mill Day." and the following weekend as "Meek Weekend"
There was a press conference to honor the Philly rapper and City Council President Darrell Clarke announced the big day for Meek. This was where State Senator Sharif Street declared this weekend belonging to him.
Mill was recognized for his commitment to criminal justice reform after his release from jail and for his artistic contributions.
