In the first-ever Fortnite World Cup event, a 16-year-old by the name of Kyle 'Bugha' Giersdorf took home the championship along with $3 million.
'Bugha' won the solo finals section of the tournament for a total of $30 million in prize offerings.
Giersdorf said after his win, "Everything I've done, the grind, it's all paid off," adding "It's just insane."
