The arrival of Drake and 21 Savage’s album found many amazed and offended by some of the lyrics on the album. Megan Thee Stallion fired back at Drake over a bar that seemingly referenced the Tory Lanez shooting, while DRAM called Drake a “b***h” over bars directed at him.
While on DJ Akademiks’ ‘Off The Record’ podcast, 21 Savage was asked about the bars Drake delivered on the album and if he spoke with the rapper about what he said when they collaborated.
DJ Akademiks asked 21 Savage what he thought when Drake delivered different bars directed at controversial topics and artists. 21 Savage said, “You know I’m pointing it out. When he send me the song, I’m pointing out what I heard, and telling him ‘yeah talk that s**t.’”
The rapper continued saying, “I’m behind him. Whatever he standing on, I’m standing on it too.”
