Teen Raises 32K for College After Parents Cut Her Off for Having a Black Boyfriend

Everyone on the Internet is making Allie Dowdle's parents their enemies after the teen took to GoFundMe to not only raise money, but also share the heartbreaking and racist story that she endured in her own home. 

Allegedly, Dowdle's parents told her to stop seeing her boyfriend because he's black. She writes "It wasn't a quiet 'no,' either. I'll never forget the yelling my parents did, when they expressed how disappointed they were in me, that I could do so much better... I couldn't comprehend how someone could be seen as less because of pigment."

She continued dating him in secret until the news of their relationship resurfaced, and then Allie's parents took away her "personal savings, car, phone and education."
