Photos of this 92-year-old elderly woman went viral after police found her locked up in a pigpen, with only an old quilt and rotting wood. She had been starved bone-thin to the point where her full skeletal frame was showing.
She was immediately transported to a hospital and received extensive medical care. When questioned by local police, she stated that her own son, together with his wife, were responsible for her state.
This occurred in China, but no matter where it was, we can't imagine how a person could treat their family member this way... it's truly HORRIFYING that they abandoned her and kept her in this condition. Had the police not found her in time, who knows how much longer she would have lived.
