Starting early Wednesday morning, major Twitter accounts started to go dark or send out messages that were clearly pushed through by hackers. Floyd Mayweather’s Twitter account, UNICEF USA, BBC News and other accounts with large followings have revealed new messages appearing in Turkish. BBC tweeted that they have “temporarily lost control of their account” but now “normal service has resumed.”
