Pre-law student and aspiring model Mimi Mbah is getting some attention after she absolutely shut down a racist Twitter troll.
The 19-year-old, originally from Cameroon, was recently featured on the African Beauties Twitter page:
While the majority of people had nothing but great things to say about her amazing photos, one dude decided to post some close-minded criticism.
“[If] she was lighter, she’d be fire,” “Tosh” (@lybonv2) wrote:
Mbah wasn’t about to let him get away with it.
“No thanks I wouldn’t trade my skin color for the world!” she fired back to a social media round of applause. “Still fire tho:”

Her response has since racked up 50,000+ like and tons of supportive comments.
“I used to put myself down for the things that made me who I am today, and I can definitely say now I’ve learned to embrace self-love and appreciate the skin I’m in,” Mbah told Elite Daily. “Despite what others may say, you’re beautiful and should feel confident in the skin you’re in.”
