This horrible story of child abuse took place not by either of the child's parents, but by the babysitter, who became infuriated that the child would not stop crying and placed the 6-month-old's feet on a hot pan that she'd been cooking on.
The babysitter, Ismelda Ramos Mendoza, initially denied knowing what had happened to the babies feet, but then admitted her sick secret as to why she'd do something like this.
Her mother rushed her child to the pediatrician and Mendoza was arrested.
