Apparently, Mireya and her mom made sure that her prom dress fit with the school's dress code, which was long enough and did not reveal midriff. Yet still, school officials disagreed and kicked her out of the dance anyway.
Mireya and her mom are furious, not only because they spent a lot of money on the dress and loved it, but because other females wearing similar dresses were not kicked out of the dance.
