Boston Shooting Leaves One Dead and a 14-Year-Old Injured

Several gunshots were fired around 7PM on Thursday night in Dorchester. One man has died and was pronounced dead at the hospital a 14-year-old boy was transported to the hospital to treat non-life threatening injuries.

Boston Police Commissioner, William Evans, says the shooting appears to be gang-related and targeted. Several officers were apparently stationed in the area and heard several gunshots prior to rushing to the scene. He reports that gang violence has increased dramatically over the past week.
