Home Depot Employee was Fired for Saving Child from Kidnapping In Store

32-year-old Dillon Reagan says he was trying to save a child from a probable kidnapping when he was fired from his position at Home Depot for "violating the company's safety policy." Now, the Internet is up in flames over what must be a massive misunderstanding.

Reagan says he was finishing his shift when a coworker alerted him to a violent, domestic abuse occurring in the parking lot. Apparently they stepped outside and heard 'Somebody help me please! He's stealing my kid, he's kidnapping my kid!'

The two followed the man on foot after calling the police. That's when his supervising manager scolded him saying that they should have just gone back to work.
