Man's Rare Form of Cancer Leaves Him with Half a Face (PHOTOS)

One 38-year-old man's rare form of cancer has left him with what he describes as half of a face.

Tim McGrath had his face rebuilt by a genius of a surgeon that managed to cut out his cancerous tumor, despite his body rejecting multiple attempts to rebuild his face. McGrath was diagnosed with Synovial Sarcomak, an extremely rare form of cancer that left him with a grapefruit sized tumor growing on his face.

The reconstruction of McGrath's face will continue for years, but as McGrath puts it, "After the operation to remove the tumor I was heartbroken, I didn't realize that half of my face would be taken away."
