BEVERLY (WBZ-AM) -- A semi truck smashed through the front of a home--and police are still searching for the driver, who fled the scene.

The crash happened around 1:30 a.m. at the corner of Park and Roundy Streets.

Glenty Jolli, his parents, and younger brother were in bed at 1:30 a.m. when they heard a loud noise.

"We heard this loud boom," Jolli said. "I didn't think of it as much, but my dad thought of it as an earthquake ... We came down here into our family room, and the next thing you see is a big hole in the wall."

Jolli said nobody was hurt, and that the home is structurally okay--though there are a lot of repairs to be done.

He said they had seen the truck parked up the street during the day Wednesday, but isn't sure what the driver was trying to do when the rig ended up inside their house.
