BOSTON (WBZ-AM) -- UPDATE (Mar 13 @ 12:30 p.m.): The National Weather Service has verified blizzard conditions in the city of Boston. An automated observing station at Boston Logan Airport has recorded more than three hours of blizzard conditions as of 12 p.m. A blizzard has been confirmed in Hyannis, Falmouth and Plymouth, as well.
The National Weather Service is calling it – Tuesday’s storm is bringing sustained blizzard conditions to parts of Massachusetts. Automated observing sites in Hyannis, Falmouth and Plymouth have recorded three hours of blizzard conditions, as of 11 a.m. Tuesday morning, despite some missing observations, in some cases, due to a loss in power.
