BOSTON (WBZ-AM) -- The Boston Globe reports that the woman killed in the shooting that also took the life of a Weymouth Police Officer Sunday was 77-year-old Vera Adams.

Officials said that a bystander was shot and killed in addition to Weymouth Police Officer Michael Chesna on Sunday, but have not yet identified that bystander. The Globe said it was Adams, a lifelong Weymouth resident. The Globe said a law enforcement officer also confirmed Adams' identity.
