Boston's Muddy River Gets Much Needed Cleanup

BOSTON, Mass (WBZ-AM) —  The cold and rain didn’t stop the cleanup efforts in the Muddy River in Charlesgate Park between Back Bay and Kenmore Square.

Once a year the Department of Conservation and Recreation sweeps the water for trash that leaders the Muddy River.

Typically it collects enough trash to fill about six dumpsters. This year the DCR is getting some help from volunteers with the Muddy Water Committee of the Charlesgate Alliance.

WBZ NewsRadio's Shari Small (@ShariSmallNews) reports.
