Boston FBI & Somerville Police Offering $10k Reward For Info On Bank Robber

The hunt is still on for the Somerville Bank robber who held up the Middlesex Federal Savings Bank in Davis Square around 9:57 a.m. Wednesday.

We’re offering a reward up to $10K," the FBI's Boston office said in a tweet Thursday. "Call 857-386-2000 or emailhttp://tips.fbi.gov."

A statement was also released “In the interest of public safety, we’re asking anyone with information about this individual and his whereabouts to contact us immediately,” said Joseph R. Bonavolonta, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI Boston Division. “What’s most concerning to us is this individual’s brazen and violent behavior. We hope this reward will incentivize anyone with information to reach out so we can put a stop to this criminal conduct and ensure those bringing violence to our communities are held accountable.”

During the robbery, he was wearing a hooded camoflage jacket with the Nike logo on it, a blue beanie, a dark glove on his left hand, blue jeans, black sneakers, and a black and red backpack.

The suspect is believed to be a light skinned male in his 30s. He is approximately 5’7” to 5’11” in height, weighs approximately 175 pounds, and has a medium build.
