Police Searching for Missing Nashua Man With Mental Health Illness

NASHUA, N.H. (WBZ NewsRadio) —Police in Nashua are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing man with mental health and substance abuse illness who family say has been missing since January.

Nashua resident Michael Jones, 34, was last seen on January 17.

Family and friends of Jones say that have not had any contact with him since then and have said that he suffers frommental health and substance abuse issues,

According to authorities at the time Jones went missing, he was staying with friends in the area of Harbor Avenue in Nashua and was actively contacting rehabilitation services for treatment.

Jones is described as a white male, five feet and six inches tall, weighing at 175 lbs., with brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing jeans, white sneakers and a leather coat.
