A derailed train has prompted shuttle buses to replace service for the MBTA's Green Line D branch Wednesday morning.
MBTA said the shuttle buses have been dispatched and will provide service between Riverside and Newton Highlands stations.
The incident happened shortly after 6 a.m. when an inbound train carrying a single passenger derailed at Riverside Station, according to the MBTA. A re-railing process will begin as soon as possible, the T said.
