Mother Suspected Of Killing Adult Son And Daughter In Murder-Suicide

Police are reporting that the deaths of three people found in a townhome in Cobb County GA Wednesday are a murder-suicide, in which a 58-year-old mother killed her 20-year-old daughter and 24-year-old son.

The bodies were discovered inside the home on August 21 around 6 p.m. Police said 20-year-old Erin Edwards and 24-year-old Chris Edwards died of gunshot wounds, and 58-year-old Marsha Edwards died of "an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound."

Dr. Christopher Edwards, the father of Erin and Chris Edwards and the ex-husband of Dr. Marsha Edwards, called police to do a wellness check on the home after he was unable to get in touch with his children and that when police discovered the bodies
