Netflix Confirms 'You' Has Been Renewed For Season 3

2

The sophomore season of You premiered on Netflix back on December 26 and fans are already eager for more. Despite please from fans to confirm the streaming platform would renew the highly binge-able show, Netflix remained mum on whether Joe Goldberg would be back for a third season. Until now, that is. You will officially return.

"New Year, New (season of) You (is officially in the works!)," Netflix tweeted on Tuesday (January 14). You's own Twitter account also shared the news with a more eerie caption. "See you soon, neighbor," they wrote. "YOU S3 is coming."

No plot details about the upcoming third season have been released, including when it will drop on Netflix. The second season picked up soon after the first one left off. You know, after Joe murdered his girlfriend Beck and fled from New York City to Los Angeles. At the start of the second season, Joe quickly becomes obsessed with a different woman named Love Quinn.

If you've already binged the second season, you know the final episode has a doozy of a cliffhanger. Sera Gamble, the executive producer of You, knows exactly where she wants to take the show in its third season, too. "I will say that we have an idea for season three that is SO exciting that people talk about it in the [writer’s] room everyday,” she told Cosmopolitan U.K..

Are you excited for more You?
