BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — A person who was shot in Mattapan on Saturday night has died of their injuries.
Authorities received reports of a person shot on Colorado Street shortly before 9:30 p.m. First responders found the victim with life-threatening injuries.
The victim died overnight. Their identity has not yet been released.

Police confirm they are investigating the shooting as a homicide, and they do have a description of the suspect.
So far no arrests have been made.
