Gov. Baker Updates On Rising Number Of COVID-19 Deaths And Cases

The Massachusetts Department of Public Health announced an additional three deaths linked to COVID-19 on Sunday and reported the state now has 646 cases.

The victims were identified as three men, two in their 70s from Hampden and Berkshire counties and one in his 90s from Suffolk County.

Officials say all three men were hospitalized.

On social media, Mayor Marty Walsh said the man from Suffolk County was from Boston.

“I am deeply saddened to learn of our first Boston resident, a man in his 90’s, to pass from COVID-19,” wrote Walsh.
