Tekashi's attorney recently filed a motion to release Tekashi due to the spread of COVID-19 in jails. Lance Lazzaro, Tekashi's attorney, states that Tekashi has asthma which puts him at risk for the virus. After many appeals, it now appears that Tekashi could be let out as early as today.
