iHeartMedia + Entertainment, Inc., its subsidiaries and affiliated companies (together, the “Sponsor”), will conduct the Contest substantially as described in these rules, and by participating, each participant agrees as follows:
The Sponsor may conduct the Contest concurrently and simultaneously on several participating radio stations owned and not owned by the Sponsor, and in various States, and the Sponsor may add or remove participating stations or change call letters of any participating station at any time during the Contest as announced on the affected station. Participating stations are listed above.
1. Description of Contest/Participation.
A. Dates of Contest: The Contest will begin and end on or about March 6, 2023 through March 31, 2023. In the event that a Grand Prize Winner is determined prior to the scheduled end date, the Contest will conclude at such time.
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE ODDS OF WINNING. Contest is subject all federal, state and local laws and is void where prohibited. Odds of winning a Preliminary Prize depend upon the number of participants. The odds of a Contestant winning the Grand Prize are 1:10,000.
- How to Enter: Listen to the station weekdays at 7:20 AM, 8:20 AM and 3:20 PM for the cue to call in and be the 25th caller to the Station’s contest line. A designated caller, as determined and announced on-air for each contest attempt, is at the announcer’s discretion and may change from announcer to announcer. The correct caller will win a preliminary prize and have the chance to participate to win the grand prize. There will be no more than a total of (75) on air attempts for the Contest. Administrator is not responsible for telephone service outages, delays, busy signals, equipment malfunctions or any other technological difficulties that may prevent an individual from completing his or her telephone call. The Sponsor assumes no responsibility for entrants not making timely phone calls to the Station or other timed entry as a result of the delays in the Internet stream. Entrants should not rely on streamed broadcasts to participate in any promotion. WARNING: Online listeners to streamed broadcasts may experience a lag in transmissions due to buffering limitations and other delays in the online streaming of its broadcast signal. Listeners of the online stream may not be able to participate in, or may be disadvantaged in participating in on-air promotions and should contact their local station to determine participation. On air Sweepstakes not valid on weekends and holidays. Contestants may participate in the contest a maximum of one (1) time during the entire Promotion Period.
- How to Play: A predetermined grand prize winning four (4) digit number for this Contest has been randomly pre-selected and placed in a sealed envelope prior to the start of the Contest. This winning number will be programmed into the key pad and locking mechanism on the designated bank vault that will be used for all Contest Attempts. The random selection of the grand prize winning four (4) digit number and the programming of the bank vault has been conducted by the Prize Provider. Each eligible participant will each be given a maximum of one (1) opportunity to attempt the Contest.
Once selected as an eligible participant, the Contest will be played as follows:
- The eligible participant must provide their full name, address and phone number to the Station, along with their four (4) digit number guess (the “Guess”) to the Station on-air. This information will be audio recorded by the Station;
- The Station will also record the participant’s name and their Guess exactly as stated on-air into the Contest registration binder (the “Binder”);
- The Station will then enter the participant’s Guess exactly as recorded in the Binder into the digital key pad on the bank vault, followed by the star (*) key on the key pad. (Example – if the participant’s Guess is 1-2-3-4, the Station will enter 1-2-3-4-* on the bank vault key pad.)
- The participant will win one (1) finalist prize.
By participating in the Contest, participants agree not to hold the Contest Entities liable for any accidental human error in the recording of the participant’s Guess or the entry process of entering the Guess into the key pad on the bank vault. The Grand Prize will not be awarded as a result of an incorrect entry into the key pad.
- CLAIMING THE GRAND PRIZE: In order to claim the grand prize:
- The participant’s Guess as recorded on-air must exactly match in order with the predetermined grand prize winning number that is contained in the sealed security envelope, and that was programmed into the bank vault by the Prize Provider;
- The Station must trigger the locking mechanism and open the bank vault only by means of entering that winning four (4) digit number guess into the key pad on the bank vault.
The four (4) digit number provided by the participant on-air, recorded by the Station in the official Binder and entered into the key pad on the bank vault, must exactly match the predetermined winning four (4) digit number that was randomly pre-selected for this Contest and that is contained in the sealed master envelope. The grand prize will not be awarded as a result of any of the following reasons including, but not limited to:
- Any Guess recorded on-air and entered into the digital key pad that does not match the actual predetermined grand prize winning four (4) digit number contained in the sealed master envelope;
- Any tampering, malfunction, damage, or use of physical force that causes the bank vault to unlock or open by any means other than by entering the winning combination;
- Any attempt where the Station fails to correctly enter the participant’s number guess into the key pad.

A Chance to Win Grand Prize: In the event an eligible finalist has correctly guessed the winning 4-digit number, that finalist will be eligible to claim the grand prize, subject to approval and verification of compliance with these Official Rules. The grand prize is: $94,000.00 cash in the form of a check. Prize provided by Million Dollar Media.
A maximum of (1) grand prize will be awarded, to the first finalist who successfully completes the contest requirements according to these official rules. In the event an eligible finalist has correctly guessed the winning 4-digit number, before the scheduled end date, there will be no further promotion of the contest and the Contest will have concluded upon such. In the event that no finalist submits a winning 4-digit number during the Contest Period, then the grand prize will not be awarded. A Grand Prize may or may not be awarded in this Contest.
All other costs and expenses related to prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided are the sole responsibility of Grand Prize winner, including but not limited to, all income, federal, state and local taxes are Grand Prize winner’s sole responsibility. All grand prize awards are non-transferable and no prize substitution allowed, except at Administrator’s sole discretion or as provided herein. Administrator reserves the right to substitute a prize of comparable or greater value, at its sole discretion.
Prize winner(s), if any, will be required to complete and return a W-9 form (if prize value exceeds $600.00), affidavit of eligibility, and liability/publicity release, and present a valid driver’s license and social security card before prize will be awarded. Winners of prizes greater than $600.00 will be issued a 1099 form reflecting the value of the prize(s) and are responsible for paying all taxes on prize(s). Failure to collect or properly claim any prize in accordance with these rules will result in forfeiture of the prize. If forfeited for any reason, contestant will not receive any other prize substitution or compensation. Total ARV of all available prizes: $199
The prize(s) that may be awarded to the eligible winner(s) are not transferable, redeemable for cash or exchangeable for any other prize. Winner(s) must present state authorized identification prior to being awarded the prize. All prizes or prize vouchers must be redeemed from the Station within 60 days of the contest end date unless stated otherwise in these official rules. Certain prizes are date specific (i.e. concerts, trips) and the winner or winners must be available on the dates specified. If a winner cannot be contacted or is disqualified for any reason, the Sponsor reserves the right to determine an alternate winner or not to award that winner’s prize, in its sole discretion.
3. Eligibility and Limitations. Participants and winner(s) must be legal U.S. residents of the States of Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont who reside within one of the following counties Barnstable, MA; Dukes, MA; Essex, MA; Middlesex, MA; Nantucket, MA; Norfolk, MA; Plymouth, MA; Suffolk, MA; Worcester, MA; Belknap, NH; Cheshire, NH; Hillsborough, NH; Merrimack, NH; Rockingham, NH; Strafford, NH; Windham, VT; and who are at least 18-years old, as determined by the Sponsor. Unless otherwise stated above, only one (1) entry per person. Only one (1) prize per household for the Contest. An individual may win only once (1) every seven (7) days. An individual may not win more than three (3) times in one month. Employees of the Sponsor, the Contest’s participating sponsors and their advertising agencies, employees of other radio or television stations, and members of the immediate family of any such persons are not eligible to participate and win. The term “immediate family” includes spouses, siblings, parents, children, grandparents, and grandchildren, whether as “in-laws,” or by current or past marriage(s), remarriage(s), adoption, co-habitation or other family extension, and any other persons residing at the same household whether or not related.
4. Telephone and Delivery Disclaimer. If a contest is a call in to win contest and/or a telephone is needed to participate in the Contest, participants are restricted to the use of ordinary telephone equipment. Participants that enable the “Caller ID” block function will not be allowed to participate unless they enter their correct area code and telephone number if prompted, or disable the features inhibiting their participation in the Contest. Participants using equipment not set up for toll free phone exchanges (800, 888, 877, 866, etc.) may experience call connection problems. The Sponsor disclaims all liability for the inability of a participant to complete or continue a telephone call due to equipment malfunction, busy lines, inadvertent disconnections, acts beyond the Sponsor’s control, or otherwise. For all contests the Sponsor disclaims all liability for any delays, misdelivery, loss, or failure in the delivery of any item sent by mail, courier, express, electronic transmission, or other delivery method. The Sponsor is not responsible for mechanical, technical, electronic, communications, telephone, computer, hardware or software errors, malfunctions or failures of any kind, including: failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed transmission of online entries, traffic congestion on telephone lines, the Internet or at any website or lost or unavailable network connections which may limit an online entrant's ability to participate in the Contest, and any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in or downloading any information necessary to participate in the Contest. Entry forms in a register-to-win contest must be handwritten. No photocopies or mechanical reproductions of entry forms is permitted.
5. Voting Contests. By participating in the voting portion of any contest, each voting participant agrees to be bound by the official contest rules. Voting is limited to one vote per verified email address. If an entrant receives multiple and/or irregular votes or multiple votes from the same user or users, including but not limited to, votes generated by a robotic, programmed, script, macro, other automated means or other source, the Station reserves the right to disqualify the entrant in its sole discretion. If the contest includes the use of an internet tool and the internet voting process fails to operate properly or appears to be tampered with or tainted with errors, fraud or unfair practices, the Sponsor reserves the right to use another means to determine the winner(s), i.e. random selection or appointing a panel of judges. All decisions of the judges are final.
6. Publicity; Use of Personal Information. By participating, where allowed by law, all participants and winner(s) grant the Sponsor exclusive permission to use their names, characters, photographs, voices, and likenesses in connection with promotion of this and other contests and waive any claims to royalty, right, or remuneration for such use. By participating in the Contest, where allowed by law, participants agree that the Sponsor may disclose personal information obtained from participants in the Contest to third parties and use such information for marketing and other purposes.
7. Consumer Created Content. If the entry for the Contest requires creative material from the participant/entrant, by submitting your entry: (1) you agree that your disclosure is gratuitous, unsolicited and without restriction and will not place the Sponsor or contest sponsors under any fiduciary or other obligation, that the Sponsor is free to disclose the ideas on a non-confidential basis to anyone or otherwise use the ideas without any additional compensation to you; (2) you acknowledge that, by acceptance of your submission, the Sponsor and contest sponsors do not waive any rights to use similar or related ideas previously known to sponsor, or developed by their employees, or obtained from sources other than you; (3) you are verifying that you are the owner and producer of the submitted material and that no third party ownership rights exist to any material submitted, and (4) you are hereby granting the Sponsor and the station a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sub-licensable (through multiple tiers) right and license to use, publish, reproduce, display, perform, adapt, modify, distribute, have distributed and promote such content in any form, in all media now known or hereinafter created, anywhere in the world, for any purpose.
8. Release. By participating in the Contest, each participant and winner waives any and all claims of liability against the Sponsor, its employees and agents, the Contest’s sponsors and their respective employees and agents, for any personal injury or loss which may occur from the conduct of, or participation in, the Contest, or from the use of any prize. In order to receive a prize, participants must sign an official waiver form provided by the Sponsor. Sponsor and Administrator are not responsible for any miscommunication by on-air announcer or off-air station employee, typographical or other error in the printing or advertising of the offer, administration or execution of the contest or in the announcement of the prizes/prize winners.
9. Taxes. Any valuation of the prize(s) stated above is based on available information provided to the Sponsor, and the value of any prize awarded to a winner may be reported for tax purposes as required by law. Each winner is solely responsible for reporting and paying any and all applicable taxes related to the prize(s) and paying any expenses associated with any prize which are not specifically provided for in the official rules. Each winner must provide the Sponsor with valid identification and a valid taxpayer identification number or social security number before any prize will be awarded. Any person winning over $600 in prizes from the Sponsor will receive an IRS form 1099 at the end of the calendar year and a copy of such form will be filed with the IRS.
10. Conduct and Decisions. By participating in the Contest, participants agree to be bound by the decisions of Sponsor personnel. Persons who violate any rule, gain unfair advantage in participating in the Contest, or obtain winner status using fraudulent means will be disqualified. Unsportsmanlike, disruptive, annoying, harassing or threatening behavior is prohibited. The Sponsor will interpret these rules and resolve any disputes, conflicting claims or ambiguities concerning the rules or the Contest and the Sponsor’s decisions concerning such disputes shall be final. If the conduct or outcome of the Contest is affected by human error, any mechanical malfunctions or failures of any kind, intentional interference or any event beyond the control of the Sponsor, the Sponsor reserves the right to terminate this Contest, or make such other decisions regarding the outcome as the Sponsor deems appropriate. All decisions will be made by the Sponsor and are final. The Sponsor may waive any of these rules in its sole discretion. Any attempt by an entrant or any other individual to deliberately circumvent, disrupt, damage or undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserve the right to seek civil and/or criminal prosecution and/or damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.
11. Miscellaneous. Void where prohibited. The odds of winning the grand prize contest once selected as an official finalist are 1:10,000. Each winner must submit proof of eligibility and sign the Sponsor’s release form to claim the prize. The Sponsor may substitute prizes, amend the rules or discontinue the Contest at any time as announced on the Station(s). The Sponsor disclaims any responsibility to notify participants of any aspect related to the conduct of the Contest. PLEASE SPECIFY which you are requesting. Requests must be received by 5/31/2023. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. 12. Compliance with Law. The conduct of the Contest is governed by the applicable laws of the United States of America, which take precedence over any rule to the contrary herein. Station(s) shall follow the applicable laws for conducting contests, including notice to the state attorney general or consumer affairs office, posting of a prize bond, furnishing lists of winners, running specific on-air disclaimers, providing specific written information about the Contest, etc. as required by local and state law.
