Rapper Enchanting has reportedly passed away hours after she was placed on life support. She was 26.

On Tuesday, June 11, the Texas-based artist's sister Kay Jay confirmed the horrible news in a post on X. She included a photo of her and Enchanting, born Channing Nicole Larry, with a somber caption. "I love you girl 💔," she wrote. Artist CJ Kasino also confirmed Enchanting's passing in an emotional Instagram post.

On Monday night, June 10, numerous blogs reported that the Texas-based artist had been admitted to the intensive care unit at a hospital. They did not provide details about why she was admitted, however, family members and loved ones appeared to confirm she was on life support in their own social media posts. There were earlier reports that Enchanting had passed away last night but the artist's sister Kay Jay asserted Enchanting was still alive at the time.

"Enchanting Is NOT DEAD !!!" she wrote in a post on X. "Please Jus Keep Praying & Ignore The Mf Tryna Tell Someone Else’s Story !!!!"

The 26-year-old artist got her start in the music industry eight years ago with her debut mixtape Love & Drugs. Following her independent journey, Enchanting was signed to Gucci Mane's 1017 label in 2020. She previously credited producer J. White Did It for introducing her to Gucci. According to 1017's website, she described her sound as "Trap N Blues."

“I had to get comfortable with my voice,” Enchanting said about discovering her style. “Staying in the studio and constantly recording, it helps me find the style I can be good at.”

“Other people can relate to the things I say," she added. "I might help somebody through any situation, they can listen to me and find peace.”

Enchanting released her most recent project No Luv via 1017 in 2022. Since then, she released her song "He Can't Reach" for HBO's "Rap Sh!t Season 2" soundtrack via Issa Rae's Raedio imprint. She also appeared on her late friend Big Scarr's posthumous album The Secret Weapon. The album dropped a few months after he passed away from a drug overdose.

Rest in peace Enchanting.
