Flavor Flav Becomes Official Hype Man For Team USA Olympic Water Polo Teams

Flavor Flav officially clocked into the Olympic games in Paris to support Team USA's water polo teams as they began their mission to earn another gold medal.

The Public Enemy rapper was in the building on Saturday, July 27 to to serve as the official hype man of the U.S. women's water polo team during their first match. He arrived at the event wearing the team's official cap, a customized Team USA jersey, and a USA-themed clock pendant. While he cheered in the stands, Flav ran into First Lady Dr. Jill Biden, who was also on-site to support.

"I love all the support Women’s Water Polo is getting," Flav wrote.

"Ya boy is so appreciative that the First Lady came to the First Game . THANK YOU @flotus Dr. Jill Biden for all the support of you and your family," he added.

Team USA's Women's and Men's water polo teams announced Flavor Flav as their official sponsor at the top of July. As a sponsor, Flav made financial contributions to both teams and is expected to appear at multiple events throughout the year including their matches at the 2024 Olympic Games.

"Supporting USA Water Polo teams is an honor," Flavor Flav said in a statement. "As a girl dad and a champion of all sports, I'm excited to bring my energy and voice to this incredible sport. Niche sports often don't get the spotlight they deserve, but they are packed with incredible talent and heart. Together, we're going to make some serious waves!"
