Lil Wayne made history as the first-ever inductee of the LIV On Sundays Hall of Fame.

In 2011, Weezy hopped on Ace Hood's "Hustle Hard (Remix)" and rapped "LIV on Sundays, King of Diamonds Monday." His shout-out to the long-running night at LIV Nightclub became one of his most notable bars to date, especially in Miami. Over a decade later, the iconic nightclub inside the Fontainebleau is celebrating the Young Money founder. Hundreds of people flocked to Miami Beach on Sunday night, December 8, to watch him become the inaugural honoree of the nightclub's most prestigious honor.

LIV Nightclub closed out Miami Art Week by hosting a special ceremony for the New Orleans native. The festivities began after Lil Wayne walked into his VIP section with his closest friends Mack Maine and Gudda Gudda. He was surrounded by other artists like Busta Rhymes, who got on the mic and paid homage to Weezy, actors like Jamie Foxx, and athletes such as John Wall and Tristan Thompson. Famed jeweler and grill maker Johnny Dang was also in the building.

Weezy hit the stage to perform his handful of classics like "We Be Steady Mobbin'," “A Milli”, “Lollipop”, and “6 Foot 7 Foot.” Midway through, the venue played a dope tribute video, DJ Stevie J played Wayne's 2010 hit "Bill Gates" as a customized jacket with "LIV On Sundays Hall of Fame" on the back descended from the ceiling. The rare jacket shimmered in the limelight due to all the jewels that covered the sleeves.

"I'm up in the rafters! Ok ok," Wayne told the crowd. "Y'all did not have to do that but I appreciate it."
