BossMan Dlow's flow is unlike any other rapper in the game right now, and he's not switching up for anyone.
On Friday, December 13, the Florida native stopped by The Breakfast Club to talk about his debut album Dlow Curry. At one point during their conversation, Charlamagne Tha God asked Dlow if he's fazed by people who want him to switch up his flow to be more lyrical like Kendrick Lamar. The 26-year-old artist laughed at the suggestion like he hadn't heard it before.
"Man I ain't finna do all that thinkin. We tryna to turn up," he replied.
BossMan Dlow said he can be lyrical, but doesn't always make lyrical records the way K-Dot or Lil Wayne does. The Alamo Records signee is more notable for his club bangers like "Get In With Me," "Shake Dat Ass," "Finesse" with GloRilla. Dlow has another collaboration with Big Glo on his first studio album Dlow Curry. He recruited the CMG signee for the remix to "Shake Dat Ass." He also called on other artists like Ice Spice, NoCap, Babyface Ray and Lil Baby to appear on it.
Elsewhere in the interview, BossMan Dlow breaks down the recent misunderstanding between him and DJ Vlad. Vlad had accused the rapper of doing bad business after he got played by a man who claimed to be Dlow's manager. The podcaster eventually took down the post and apologized after he realized it was a scam. "The Biggest" rapper clarified that his management's information is listed on his Instagram bio and argued that he doesn't play about his business.
