Food Trucks Now Serving In Boston Communities

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Dozens of food trucks are now situated around Boston communities, thanks to a new City initiative meant to help small businesses during the pandemic.

Mayor Marty Walsh said the food trucks provide a natural outdoor dining experience, which lines up with the city's COVID-19 public safety precautions, and also allows local restaurants to keep their businesses running.

"This Summer we are piloting temporary food truck sites across our neighborhoods, including at city parks, playgrounds, and public spaces," said Mayor Walsh.

The food trucks will be located at 23 sites across the city, seven days a week, from noon to 7 p.m.
