BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — John Korir from Kenya has placed 1st in the Men’s Professional Race.
The 29-year-old defended his title and broke a new Boston Marathon record at 2:01:52. The previous marathon record was 2:03:03.
His previous personal best was 2:02:54 at the Valencia Marathon in 2025.
