FOXBORO, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Patriots OLB Matt Judon has made one thing abundantly clear: he cannot stand mac and cheese. The defensive standout went on a two-minute rant against the popular side at Tuesday's press appearance, making his disdain completely unequivocal.

"It's just cheese and noodles, and it's not that good...probably one of the most overrated dishes...I'm almost 30 now, I'm pretty set in my ways, and it's disgusting," he said. "Get it off the table."

Ironically, Judon said the rest of his family loves the side — but they know not to antagonize him with it.

"They know not to put it on my plate...I'm gonna have to fight everyone in the house one by one. I'm gonna wait until they eat their macaroni and cheese, get sluggish, and then I'll whoop 'em," he said. On a more serious note, Judon said he was thankful for his family, his health, and his friends. The linebacker has racked up a career-high 10.5 sacks through Week 11.

He said his favorite dish was Thanksgiving dressing. Tight End Jonnu Smith said his favorite dish was sweet potato pie with a scoop of ice cream, and ILB veteran Donta Hightower said his favorite was sweet potato casserole and — yes — his mom's mac and cheese.
