NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) β Authorities say two people are dead after a shooting at a home in Northborough.
According officials from the Worcester District Attorney Office, Northborough Police officers were called to a home at 18 Pond View Way around 10:00 p.m. Tuesday where they found one person dead.
A second person was brought to UMass Memorial Hospital where they were pronounced dead.
Police closed a portion of the neighborhood for several hours as they investigated the shooting.
According to authorities it was reported to police that an argument between two people led to one person shooting the other and then turning the gun on themselves.
Authorities say that there is no threat to the public and have not released names. The investigation is on going.
