Former Forbes editor and longtime "Hip Hop Cash Kings" list creator Zack O'Malley Greenburg recently released the list of the highest-paid rappers of 2021 for his website, Zogblog.
Diddy, Jay-Z, and Kanye topped the list with a combined $800 million earned for the year. Jay-Z was at the top of the list after bringing in $470 million last year- the largest amount of his career. This was due in part to him selling his streaming company TIDAL to Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey’s Square for $297 million.
Kanye came in second on the list, taking home a reported $250 million, with a bulk of the money coming from sales from his Yeezy shoes. Diddy followed on the list at the number 3 spot, bringing in $75 million, thanks in part to Ciroc's partnerships with Pandora and Dolce & Gabbana.
