In the era of social media, it seems like influencers are finding new and innovative ways to parlay their notoriety into opportunistic money grabs. The most recent phenomenon appears to be celebrity look-alikes. Fake Drake (Izzy Drake) and fake Lil Durk (Lil Perkio) have cashed in on their resemblance to their platinum-selling counterparts all year. Now, there's a Chris Brown doppelgänger looking to join in on the craze, and he made a big splash on social media over the weekend when news began to spread that he would be charging $1,500 for "meet and greets" in the city of Detroit. If this is true, that would mean that the Chris Brown impersonator is charging $500 more than the real Chris Brown has been charging for his widely popular "meet and greets."
"Going To Be In Detroit This Weekend Meet & Greets $1500," tweeted the celebrity look-alike, along with a selfie.
