Hillary Clinton has a new series on Apple TV+ called ‘Gutsy,’ and Megan Thee Stallion found herself making a guest appearance.
The conversation surprisingly found Clinton revealing she came across Megan’s music through her collaboration with Cardi B—“WAP.” Footage from the show found Clinton saying her daughter Chelsea has been into rap most of her life and that her daughter is how she came across the music. Megan then broke down why “WAP” was created with Cardi, saying she wanted to match the amount of sexuality displayed via male rappers’ lyrics. From there, Chelsea Clinton said, “It's great to see women be so kind of fierce.”
In an interview with PEOPLE, Hillary Clinton revealed what she thought when first hearing the lyrics to “WAP.” Clinton said, “I didn't know what to think because I'm of a much different generation, but I admired the audacity and the kind of agency that both of those young women were exhibiting: 'Here I am. Here's what I want to say, and either like it or not.' I did respond to that.” Watch the clip below.
