In his first game since having his Nike endorsement deal terminated, Kyrie Irving took the floor on Wednesday night against the Charlotte Hornets in a pair of his signature sneakers. However, Irving covered the Nike swoosh with black tape with the handwritten message, "I Am Free, Thank You God."
On the opposite side in an almost Virgil Abloh-esque fashion, Irving wrote "Logo Here."
Irving is now a free agent as far as shoes endorsements are concerned, but there have yet to be any rumblings about a potential landing spot for the for 1x NBA champ.
