A video recently surfaced on social media of an Austin, TX area house party that ended up actually being a "mansion rager" thrown by hundreds of teens after they broke into the swanky Texas pad.
The party was promoted on social media and even featured a boxing match. The digital flyer also noted that partygoers should bring their own alcohol and drugs while alerting those intending to attend that it would until police arrived.
Over the course of the party, the home was trashed resulting in thousands of dollars of damage.
The homeowners were alerted about the party by neighbors complaining to both them and police. “We started receiving numerous phone calls from our neighbors that there were kids on our water tower on our property, there were cars up and down the street, and kids were hopping over the front of our fence,” said the homeowner who asked to remain anonymous.
“I saw they had thrown like avocados at the wall, there was damage to sheetrock and baseboards. They had thrown tools through the sheetrock of our garage. They had my daughter’s toys scattered around the property,” they added.
