Last Thursday, around 10:30pm, an ex-Connecticut state worker named Suzanne Laprise casually walked into the lobby of the Bristol Police Department before pulling out a firearm that used to belong to her ex-boyfriend (a former NYPD Officer) and discharging multiple rounds before taking off her hoodie and lighting up a cigarette.
According to reports, Suzanne was fed up with the circumstances of her life. Not only is she the mother of a son with down syndrome, but she also has a daughter caught up in legal trouble. So, with no relief in sight, Suzanne decided to walk life's proverbial plank by firing some shots into the bulletproof glass of her local police station. At the time, the lobby was empty. But once officers heard the shots, they ran over the area and returned fire. Suzanne fired back. Thankfully, no one was injured during the exchange.
