Only a three hour drive from New York, undoubtably the mecca of Hip Hop, Boston has always lurked in the shadows waiting for our turn, with exception of the late Guru of Gang Starr (a native of Roxbury), veteran Dorchester emcee Akrobatik and recent Roc-Nation signee producer Statik Selektah.
