Federal prosecutors announced Thursday the arrest of a Cambridge man accused of offering to pay for the murder of a federal Immigration agent.
Brandon James Ziobrowski, 33, is accused of tweeting an offer to pay $500 to anyone who kills an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent. U.S. Attorney Andrew Lelling, Boston FBI Special Agent in Charge Harold Shaw and Boston Homeland Security Investigations Special Agent in Charge Peter Fitzhugh held a press conference yesterday morning to announce the arrest — and condemn a rise in threats and violence against law enforcement.
