Forbes dropped this years The World's Highest-Paid Hip-Hop Acts and the usual suspects made the list but also some newbies joined the list this year.
As per usual, Jay-Z and Diddy are kings of the financial situation in hip-hop and this year is no different as both artists claimed the #1 and #2 spots. Diddy snagged second place with $64 million made this year but that was not enough to overtake Hov who made an insane $76.5 million. Comptons Kendrick sits secured himself into the #3 spot by banking $58 million, which is the most he's made in his career. Of course, Drake follows with his $47 million.
Notable new comer, at the age of 44, was Was. In recent years Has has invested and snagged stakes in Silicon Valley darlings (Lyft, Coinbase) and online media (Genius, Mass Appeal) which garnered him a cool $33 million. Check out Forbes full list here.
