New Hampshire State Polie & Manchester PD Continue To Investigate Person Who Jumped From So. Willow Bridge on the I-293 Highway.
Monday morning a person jumped from the So Willow St overpass onto 293 South striking two vehicles and died on the scene
NHSP and MPD shut down the highway and eventually routed traffic from the highway off to South Willow St exit 1.
Shortly after the man jumped from the overpass, a woman who was stopped in the traffic about a mile north of the scene got out of her car, stripped to her underwear and crossed the highway, police said. She tried to jump over a guardrail and was stopped by a Good Samaritan, police said.
Manchester police said the incident was unrelated to the man jumping from the overpass.
