The NBA announced the 2019-20 regular season would be suspended due to the coronavirus.
Just prior to the start of the game between the Utah Jazz and the Oklahoma City Thunder, the referees meet at mid-court and sent the players to the locker room. Shortly after, the Thunder announce that the game has been postponed.
After taking the initial step to play games in empty arenas, the NBA issued a statement on Wednesday night that all games will be suspended until further notice after a Utah Jazz player, reportedly Rudy Gobert, tested positive for the coronavirus.
