Kenya's Ruth Chepngetich smashed the women's half marathon world record on Sunday in a time of one hour four minutes and two seconds in Istanbul.
Chepngetich was in a lead group with fellow Kenyan, two-time 5000m world champion Hellen Obiri, and Ethopia's Yalemzerf Yehualaw.
