Kanye West previously held a listening event for the upcoming release of his album ‘DONDA.’ The project reportedly features appearances from Lil Baby and Jay-Z. The event found West playing the new music in the middle of an empty Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, with a massive crowd surrounding the rapper’s empty space. West was scheduled to perform at the Rolling Loud festival in Miami, but now West is expected to miss the event as he is reportedly still at the stadium.
According to reports, West has still been at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium and has set up a studio to finish off his album. Along with that, he has a chef to prepare meals for him during his process.
West was reportedly spotted at the Atlanta stadium during the Atlanta United soccer game this past Saturday, with the same fit from his listening event last Thursday. Sources near Kanye say the rapper was so inspired by the ‘DONDA’ listening that he wanted to remain in Atlanta and finish up the album, with August 6 as the wrap and release date.
