This one had to hurt. Former New England Patriot Tim Tebow recalled a story where he had just joined the team and was asked to keep a "low profile" by head coach Bill Belichick.
Shortly after joining the team, Tebow was approached by his agent with a commercial opportunity worth $1 million. Tim, remembering that coach Belichick told him to keep a low profile, thought it appropriate to ask his coach on whether he should accept the commercial offer or not.
Coach Belichick, Tebow recalls, asked him to not do the commercial. Tim complied and turned it down only to be cut from the team 3 weeks later. "I probably should have said yes" Tebow regrettably stated.
