Safaree Luckily Missed By Stray Bullet While In Atlanta

The city of Atlanta has received its fair share of negative press in recent years due to the gang and gun violence surrounding the city. Between the high-profile cases involving YSL and YFN, as well as the city being the location where King Von was fatally shot, Black entertainers have had to navigate the area with caution. Love & Hip Hop star Safaree recently revealed his own near-death experience in the city.

Safaree took to Instagram on Wednesday to show his followers how he was nearly hit in the head by a stray bullet. In a video posted to his Instagram Story, Safaree is inside a building and shocked as he shows a bullet on the floor and the hole where the round made it through the building. During the video, Safaree yells, "What the f***!" multiple times while showing how close he was to the bullet's entry point.

"I almost got shot in my head by a stray bullet!!" Safaree's caption read. "I was inches away from where the bullet holes came from!! This is why I can't f****** stand Atlanta!!!! THANK GOD OMG!! That's why I don't feel sorry for you criminals!! I cannot believe that just happened!!! Whoever that was had a switch on his gun and let off 10 shots in 3 seconds."

Before Safaree's near-fatal incident, the reality TV star tweeted about the public asking for inmates to be freed from behind bars regardless of if they're guilty or not.

"Why do ppl say free somebody when they're in jail knowing that they committed the crime??" he tweeted. "Are you saying free them so they can do it again? what if you or your family was the victim would you want them free pls help me understand the thought process behind this."
