West Coast artist $atori Zoom is somewhat mysterious in every sense of the word. As one begins to unveil the layers on the West Coast single artist who is nowreleasing albums, a few key things come to light. $atori is treasured by his cult-like following, to continue MD growth of said Fandom with every major release that follows. He has a message with each deliverance even if he finds himself in a different direction than normal.
"My only plans are to help affect as many lives as possible," $atori says. "I want to leave a lasting impact on the youth [by] reminding them that they are so much more important in this world than they think."
With an outwardly candid approach to life that also serves as the ethos or foundation of his career in the music industry, $atori is not one to stay focused on any one style or genre when it comes to creating or recording. Using his emotions and experiences to convey a deeper message from a place of catharsis, $atori has a recognizable, distinguished sound.
What started as a hobby in 2017 became a steady transition into a full-time mainstream artist in two years. From a consistent drop of singles to his 2022 full-length album ATTICA, $atori is unafraid to explore otherwise common musical boundaries.
When it came to choosing his creative alias, he took a page from Kurt Cobain by extending his reach to Buddhist teachings. In the Japanese tradition, "satori" is synonymous with awakening -- a philosophical state he strives to continuously share.
